About Tara

Tara Cohen is the pseudonym of an aspiring romance writer.

Tara is a minister in the Church of Sweden with an affinity for shoes and the wonderful escape of a lusty romance.

When she was three, her parents took her on her first visit to England. It was the beginning of a lasting love affair. Since then more visits, Jane Austen and a year in Cambridge have kept her right on track.

Back in Sweden to start off her professional life, Tara channelled her love and dreams of England into fiction. Currently she’s working of a series of four books set in the Regency era. In her writing, she draws from her experience of growing up in a Swedish vicarage, as well as her love of fairytales and a Master in Theology. Tara might not be able to fix everything in her parishioners’ life, but she makes certain her heroes and heroines live happily ever after, in body, mind and spirit.

Tara lives way up north in Sweden with her husband and the occasional stray reindeer.

 

From July 2011 Tara is the secretary of The Beau Monde, a Regency Set Specialty Chapter of RWA.
