There are many shapes and forms for beards and surely different styles to wear. It depends on your facial features if it fits…and certainly the time you are born in.

Please mention that the island of Gotland is part of Sweden (below the picture from the gotlandic picture stone). A common misconception I’ve seen allover, is that when swedish viking age runestones or items are used, they are reffered to as coming from the province (swedish: “landskap”). For exampe, below a picture of a viking age brooch found in Sweden, it can say: “Viking age brooch from Västergötland”. And next picture, a viking age brooch found in Norway can be depicted, with the text: “Viking age brooch from Norway”. How can non-Scandinavians know that “Västergötland” is a province in Sweden? They can not, thus believing wrongfully that “Västergötland” (or whatever province named, in your case “Gotland”) is a country in Scandinavia. Please give Sweden credit where credit is due.
